This year in May 20 students from three classes of the electrical engineering and electronics department and one student from the IT department took off to London. The aim of this trip was to explore the city, practice and improve our English speaking skills and to get to know the cultural side of London.
As we landed in London, the first thing we did was to leave our luggage at our hotel and to get to know how the tube lines work in this huge city. We spent our first evening at Picaddily Circus, one of the most vivid and lively squares in London. On the following days we had a lot of stuff to do: we visited the Tower Bridge and had a great guided tour there, walked through St. James‘ Park to the Buckingham Palace, visited Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Camden Town, Hyde Park and Harrods‘.
